The most common question I'm asked is, "What iPad are you using?"

I don't believe you need the latest and greatest to produce digital art, hence the iPad linked here is a refurbed 2021 5th gen model (the exact one I'm using). If you are in the market for an iPad the two things I recommend are:

1. Any of the M chip models (M1, M2, M3, M4). I wouldn't get anything pre-2021 as these have older chips that are less powerful.
2. Get the biggest model you can afford both in physical size and GB. Screen real estate and memory make a difference in your drawing experience and layers you can draw with, respectively.
