About

I'm Jay — a digital artist and illustrator from Sydney, Australia teaching people to draw and paint using Procreate on the iPad.

Jaywalker Pictures started as a travel blog built on a pun - jaywalking as a way of seeing the world on your own terms. Over time it became something I didn't expect: a YouTube channel with 60,000 subscribers and a structured curriculum teaching drawing from complete scratch, through sketching, perspective, values and colour.

If you found me through YouTube, welcome. If you're here for the brushes or the Learn to Draw bundle, you're in the right place. If you just wandered in — glad you're here too.
